Femalegra belongs to a class of medications called phosphodiesterase (PDE). This medicine is used to treat impotence by increasing blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation. This increased blood flow can cause an erection.
Take Femalegra exactly as directed by your doctor. Do not take it in larger amounts or for longer than recommended by your doctor. Follow the directions on the prescription label. Femalegra is usually taken only when needed, 30 minutes to 1 hour before sexual activity. You can take up to 4 hours before sexual activity. Femalegra not take more than once per day. Femalegra can help achieve an erection when sexual stimulation occurs. An erection will not occur just by taking a pill. Follow your doctor's instructions.
Femalegra be taken as needed, so it is not likely to cause an overdose. However, in case of overdose call your doctor immediately. Symptoms you may notice are irregular heartbeat, pain, nausea.
Femalegra not take if you are taking any nitrate-based drug, including nitroglycerin patches, nitroglycerin ointment and nitroglycerin tablets. Femalegra is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any component of the tablet.
Like any other Femalegra can cause side effects. The most common side effects are stomach pain, facial flushing, nasal congestion, diarrhea. Tell your doctor if Femalegra is not working well or if you are experiencing any side effects mentioned above.
