Fludac 20 mg
Fludac is a drug aimed to prolong the action of serotonin in the brain. It helps to constrict the blood vessels and it acts as a neurotransmitter. It is used as a potent antidepressant and considered effective in alleviating depression.
A regular dose of Fludac is 1 pill taken 1 or 2 times per day. If you want to reach best results, you need to take Fludac for a prolonged time period. Before you feel relived from depressive symptoms it may pass 4 weeks. However if you take Fludac for 3 months successively, the effect is supposed to last for 9 months approximately. For the obsessive compulsive disorder treatment, you need to take Fludac for 5 weeks to get best results.
You must consult your doctor and tell him all your medical history, especially if you have ever suffered from repeated epileptic fits, or if you have any allergy. Fludac may impair your alertness and reactions, so you must avoid doing anything that requires you to be alert or attentive (f. e. driving). Fludac taking can result in giddiness and a feeling of somnolence.
In case you have been suffering from diabetes, hepatic insufficiency or heart attacks, you mustn’t take Fludac. You have to consult your health care professional or chemist health care provider if you are pregnant, plan to be pregnant or in a condition of lactating as far as possible side effects during pregnancy haven’t been properly studied. There is information available that Fludac can excrete into the breast milk.
Possible side effect The most common possible side effects include abnormal ejaculation, low sex drive, vertigo, dry mouth, low fever, flatulency, headaches, impotence, sleep disorders, pruritus, appetite changing (low or high), sickness, anxiety, nettle rash, sinusitis, somnolency, sore throat, sweating, tremors, diarrhea, retching, feeling of tiredness. The less common side effects are abnormal taste, agitation, bleeding, chills, ear pain, mental state confusion, fever, frequent urination, hypertension, increased appetite, memory loss, palpitations, ringing in the ears, sleep disorders, weight gain. In children and adolescents, less common side effects can result in agitation, excessive menstrual bleeding, frequent urination, mania or hypomania (elation and hyperactivity).

If you have missed your dose, take it as soon as possible. If you see it is near the time for the next dose intake, skip the missed dose and return to your regular dosing schedule. Avoid taking two dosages at once. Overdosing can result in the lethal termination, so if you suspect you have taken too much of Fludac, immediately seek for urgent medical help.
Fludac is stored at 68 –77 °F (20 –25 °C) away from heat, moisture, and light. Do not store in the bathroom. Keep it away from the reach of children and pets. Do not use if after the expiry date is over.
